Founded by Southern Cross University and led by Lorraine Gordon, Director of Strategic Projects, the Regenerative Agriculture Alliance (RAA) includes leading agricultural practitioners and researchers in environmental science, carbon sequestration, soil and plant science, marine and forestry science.

RAA is focused on improving the holistic health and wellbeing of Australian landscapes, farmers and communities through regenerative agricultural research, education and practice. In 2022, RAA is delivering education and knowledge-sharing projects that improve landscape function including soil carbon, hydration, and biodiversity at scale.

Southern Cross University offers a suite of courses in regenerative agriculture, designed for students who want to be a part of a new way of farming that better supports – and is supported by – natural processes, building more resilient farms and farmers in a future of increased seasonal and weather variability. The University offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in regenerative agriculture.
